Experienced guidance for early career professionals.

“It’s so easy to talk to you.

Our sessions provided some guiding questions—guiding the conversation to address some of the things that should be addressed, but also flexible enough to meet me where I was.” — Former Client, 2020

Over a three-week engagement, I worked with this client to build confidence in her professional experience and improve relationships with peers by setting clear learning goals. We were able to get at some root causes of performance anxiety and keep an eye on how to move forward.

“I appreciate you’ve been open and honest.

It made our sessions very relatable. I knew you weren’t going to judge me!” — Former Client, 2020

As my client started a new Master’s program, we worked together to address fears of burnout and performance stress by establishing relative importance/impact of the client’s overall life activities. We set realistic goals for measuring success as a gauge for feeling overwhelmed in the future.

How we’ll work together

The way forward can look distorted from your current perspective.  As a coach, I want to partner with you to observe current realities and envision new ways forward—together.

The purpose of coaching is to elucidate for a client their own internal truths, visions, and life assumptions. Coaching can help people verbalize their own desires and needs as well as push them to respond to gaps in perception, effort, and skillsets.

The goal is for a client to leave an engagement feeling more aware of their own identity and how that influences their professional actions and decisions.

As someone who struggled to find their path early in their career (I mean, I’m an art history major turned consultant!) I personally know the struggle of defining strengths and matching that to a potential career path.  When I was in my early 20’s, I had mentors that gave me a lot of advice—but it wasn’t until I was able to reflect on my key productive behaviors that I was able to open my mind and map strengths to a variety of industries.  I want to be able to provide opportunities for early career professionals to not feel lost in their first job.

I view coaching as a growth opportunity.

It’s not a quick fix, but a time to intentionally reflect and set goals for the future. I add value to your journey by not offering advice, but working to align your own internal goals, passions, strengths, and growth areas to the next step.

I have a non-judgmental approach and attitude, a positive belief for change/progress with my client, and a solution-focused lens to the entire engagement. Let’s see it through!
